The St John’s College Foundation underpins the financial sustainability of St John’s College.

We raise and manage funds to build an endowment that supports the legacy of the school as a World-Class Christian School in and for Africa. The fees charged to parents do not adequately cover the costs of running the school to the high standard that we set ourselves.

Our diverse academic, cultural and sporting programmes prepare Johannians to become leaders in their chosen fields, and we share our resources with children who cannot afford our fees. The generosity of our donors enables us to deliver on our vision and to extend our educational reach beyond the boundaries of our school.

Independent Trust

The Foundation is an independent trust with Section 18A status and is registered as a Public Benefit Organisation, allowing donors to claim income tax deductions for donations that fall within the range of activities approved by the Foundation for Section 18A purposes.
